No Injuries in Monday Bus Wreck

A Breathitt County School bus left the roadway on Monday and plowed into a fence on Highway 541 near the entrance of the Kentucky Mountain Bible College.
No students were on board, and no one was injured in the crash.
According to reports, a full-size Breathitt County school bus was traveling north on Highway 541 near the KMBC and War Shoal Branch at approximately 2:00 p.m. on April 28 when it left the roadway and collided with a section of black fence on the property of Darrell Cundiff.  The bus then the rear end went over a small embankment, where it stopped.
The driver, Lloyd A. Vaillencourt, age 42, was not injured in the crash.
The bus serves the 541, Rock Lick, Lawson, and Mount Carmel areas of Breathitt County.
A heavy-duty wrecker was called to remove the bus from the roadside, and the roadway was blocked for some time.
