Sarah Ellen Turner

Sarah Ellen Turner, age 80, of Butterpoint Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at her residence.  She was born September 22, 1944, in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Mack and Mary Turner Johnson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband: Charles Turner.  Grandson: Kevin Turner.  Three brothers:  Tom Johnson, Mack Johnson, Bill Johnson.  Son-in-law: Richard Smith.  She is survived by her son: Eddie (Lucy) Turner of Canoe, KY.  Daughter:  Lisa Smith of Canoe, KY.  One brother: Pat (Wanda) Johnson of Stanton, KY.  Two sisters:  Nancy Mauck and Gracie (Denver) Gilbert, both of Canoe, KY.  Two grandchildren:  Travis (Shay) Smith of Clay City, KY and Tabitha (Glenn) Napier of Jackson, KY.  One great grandson: Aaron Turner.  A special niece:  Kayla Gilbert.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Johnson Family Cemetery, Butterpoint Road, Jackson, KY with William and Rhonda Herald conducting the service.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers:  Nephews
