Jonathan Miller, age 57, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Jonathan was born on August 20, 1968, in Beverly, Massachusetts. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for six years. Throughout his life, Jonathan worked in several trades and was known as a skilled mechanic, carpenter, and hardware employee.
Jonathan had a deep love for music and was a big fan of the band Rush. He was known for his hardworking nature, his sense of humor, and the care he showed to those close to him.
He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Holly Ann Turner; his sons, Ryan Miller Avery and Tyler Miller Avery; his brothers, True Gilbert Miller III and Andrew Whiton Miller; his stepdaughter, Emily (Christopher) Getchell; and his step-grandchildren, Matthew, Victoria, Carson, and Lucas Getchell.
He is also survived by a special friend, Angela Noble, and his cherished animal companion, Luna.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, True Gilbert Miller II; his mother, Carolyn Marshall Jones; and his sister, Page Elizabeth Miller.
Jonathan will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the many friendships he made throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
