Elvira Fugate, 66, of Jackson, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born on January 19, 1959, in Hazard, Kentucky, Elvira was the beloved daughter of the late Pearl and Odia Faye Fugate. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Kelly Robinson, and her daughter, Amy Sue Fugate.

A devoted homemaker, Elvira found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished time spent with her family, loved being outdoors, and enjoyed activities such as swimming, gardening, fishing, picnics, cookouts, window shopping, and watching movies. Her warmth, laughter, and love for nature will be deeply missed.

Elvira is survived by her loving children, Kellie Nicole Feltner (Edward Lynn Strong) and James Pearl Fugate; her sister, Christine Turner; her brother, Michael Glenn Sebastian; and her cherished grandchildren, Ethan James Anthony Feltner and Brayden James Lynn Strong. She also leaves behind her special niece, Mary Ann Bailey, and four great-nephews, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation for Elvira will begin Thursday, May 29, at 5:00 PM at the Breathitt Funeral home. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM with John Tincher officiating. Elvira will be laid to rest at Roark Cemetery on Roark Mountain, with James Pearl Fugate, Edward Lynn Strong, and other family and friends serving as pallbearers.
