Eddie Barnett, 65 of Paris, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 due to an auto accident. Born on March 28, 1961 in Jackson, Kentucky, Eddie was the son of the late Harlen Barnett and Evelyn Allen Sizemore.
Eddie was a member of Donaldson Road Baptist Church where he found fellowship and faith. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time enjoying nature. Whether it was four-wheeling or riding his side-by-side, Eddie cherished the freedom and joy that came with being outside.
He is survived by his brothers, James Arthur Whitaker, John Barnett; his sisters, Atta Taylor, Lula Sizemore, Felicia Grooms and Letha Gibson; his daughter, Melissa Gann; and two grandsons, C.J. "Little Man" and Daniel. Eddie’s family and friends will remember him fondly for the memories they shared together.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Harlen Barnett, his mother, Evelyn Allen Sizemore and his wife, Jane Allen Gann.
A celebration of life for Eddie will be held Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Breathitt Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
