Five named to All-District Jazz Band

Five Breathitt High School students were named to the All-District Jazz Band and will perform with the group in a special concert on May 10 in Paintsville, Kentucky.  The students were selected after a round of auditions on April 17.  The Kentucky Music Educators Association awarded All-District status to Hunter Barrett, trumpet; Sophie Napier, bass; Aaden Strong, drum set; Sophia Jiang, piano; and Jacob Neace, baritone sax.
