Reed ( aka Jake) Watts, age 87, of Lost Creek, Kentucky passed away Friday November 3, 2023 at Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky.
Jake was born on March 4, 1936 to the late Isaac and Clara Noble Watts. He was a US Army Veteran, Printer and Coal Truck Owner and Operator.
Jake is survived by Three Sisters; Blanche(Ken) Back, Lillian Watts, Jenette Smith, Three Brothers; Jay(Carmie) Watts, Zane Watts, Ronnie Watts, Stepdaughter; Charlotte Collins, Three Grandchildren; Sarah Watts, Jacob Watts, Kayla Watts, One Great Grandchild; Curtis Watts, Mother of his son Bessie Watts, a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives and Friends.
Jake was preceded in death by his Parents; Isaac and Clara Noble Watts, Only Son; Curtis Reed(Dickie) Watts, Two Sisters; Audrey Combs and Connie Watts, Three Brothers; Ishmael Watts, Clell Watts, Glennis Watts, One Grandchild, Curtis Ray Watts.
Funeral Services for Reed Aka Jake Watts will be held on Sunday November 5, 2023 at 2;00 P.M. at The Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky with Pastor John Bunn officiating. Jake will be laid to rest in Noble’s Cemetery at Lost Creek, Kentucky with Wilbur Henson, Jacob Watts, OT Watts, Todd Russell, Gary Turner, Arnold Wayne Watts, Ike Noble, Shane Watts, Clell Douglas Watts, Mitch Smith serving as Pallbearers, and Mike Noble, Ken Back, Roy Warrix, Ray Moore, Steven Watts, Dana Noble, Steven Smith, and James Noble and Dean Smith serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 5, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
