Nita Fern Davis Whitley

Nita Fern Davis Whitley, age 77, of Jackson, KY pased away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. She was born April 4, 1947 at Cane Creek in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Henry and Molly (Raleigh) Davis. She was preceded also in death by her husband: Gene Whitley. Two brothers: Bobby Davis and Henry Davis, Jr. She is survived by three sons: Don (Pat) Campbell, Jimmy (Trish) Campbell and Glenn (Libby) Campbell, all of Jackson, KY. Four grandchildren: Tiffany Campbell, Glenn Campbell, Molly Parker and Kim Gabbard. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services wll be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl McIntosh officiating. Burial in the Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday at 11:00 am until time of service. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
